Role: Undergraduate Co-op in Drug Substance Technologies Synthetics at Amgen, focusing on process scale-up of small-molecule APIs for early to late-stage development. Responsibilities: learn synthetic organic chemistry and chemical engineering principles; support process translation from development to manufacturing; interact with scientists and engineers on manufacturing technologies. Requirements: enrolled in a Bachelor's program with a minimum 3.0 GPA; completed at least one year of study; based in the U.S.; full-time availability. Preferred: studies in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Data Sciences; experience with organic synthesis, flow chemistry, biocatalysis, lab automation, or Python data analysis; strong interpersonal and project management skills.
