TS Manager BTP Security Lead

Role Summary

TS Manager BTP Security Lead located in Raritan, New Jersey. The Digital Platform Transformation Program undertakes the SAP S/4HANA and BTP Platform deployment to create a digital-first core for Innovative Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Security solutioning and delivery and program oversight
• Assess functional requirements and provide recommendations per Application Security guidelines and Compliance standard methodologies; translate functional specs into technical design for data-level security
• Responsible for MedTech S4 Security Support in accordance with Global Security Strategy and Administration
• Crafting and building security groups and permissions
• User administration with Active Directory or Identity Access Management
• Understand NetWeaver and data-level security; address data-level security concerns with the technical team
• ERP Security, Enterprise S/4 HANA Security, BW/4 HANA Security expertise
• Identify risks and compliance issues by running segregation of duties checks
• Experience with Security Weaver – Separation Enforcer and Emergency Repair
• Develop and implement Application Data Security policies and procedures
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to supervise and lead tasks
• Ensure security delivery aligns with JNJ policies, testing guidelines, release management, and regulatory/business requirements
• Collaborate with developers in onsite and offshore environments; align with Support Lead to drive issue resolution

Teamwork

• Collaborate across BT, Architecture, PL, and TS groups to deliver security solutions
• Align with BT counterparts to ensure plan progression; drive business value from S4/HANA IT product
• Accountable for cross-stable team communication; single point of contact for ISRM, vendors, and enterprise platform owners

Process Improvement

• Challenge status quo; identify opportunities within processes and solutions
• Introduce delivery automation processes (testing, release, development control)
• Pursue efficiencies, scalability, and cost reduction opportunities; apply data-level security and reporting security to new solutions

Management by Influence

• Manage multi-functional teams to address business and technology needs
• Lead Security Analysts / Leads; flexible, customer-focused; self-motivated
• Drive scaled Agile security delivery; collaborate with Product Owner, Product Analysts, and Solution/Data Engineer roles
• Domain expert in platform security solutions; manage multiple project lifecycles; facilitate audits as requested

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science

Required

• 8 years of relevant Information Technology experience
• 4-6 years of Application Security experience
• Strong knowledge and 3 years of S/4 HANA Security design
• Strong knowledge and 3 years of SAP BTP Security design
• Strong knowledge in Reporting B4 HANA Security
• Awareness of industry security trends and applicable design knowledge
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and development methodologies; Agile
• Knowledge of security in Data Security, SuccessFactors, and SAP authorization
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with global/regional SAP rollouts; complex technology projects preferred
• Knowledge of SAP security setup; HP ALM testing experience a plus
• Agile experience; PMP, HPQC, ITILv3, or CPA certifications a plus
• Experience in a Global Support Structure
