Responsibilities:
- Function as an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team supporting territory managers by conveying the value of the Animal Health portfolio through technical lectures to key customers and veterinary organizations.
- Offer solutions aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategy to meet regional and organizational priorities.
- Meet key opinion leaders in clinical and university settings to discuss the portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the Animal Health portfolio at veterinary schools, associations, and conferences.
- Serve as the regionβs technical expert: assess technical training needs and coach sales reps in technical selling.
- Collaborate with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales.
Education:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD)
Required Experience & Skills:
- 10 years combined relevant experience: at least 5 years in clinical companion animal veterinary practice and at least 5 years in the animal health industry, or equivalent leadership/management experience.
- Translate complex issues for different audiences; strong presentation/facilitation.
- Excellent oral and written communication with internal customers and hospital decision makers.
- Medical consultant expertise in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
- Ability to influence without direct authority; build internal and industry networks.
- Innovative, independent execution of Professional Services Veterinarian responsibilities.
- Competency in MS Office; relevant industry software (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Power BI).
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally (internal and external).
- Strong understanding of veterinary customer business processes to improve medical capabilities and profitability.
Preferred:
- Experience with companion animal vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics; advanced degrees/research.
- Experience delivering training in structured organizations; leadership/management experience.
