Responsibilities:
- Serve as an integral member of the Regional Leadership Team supporting territory managers; demonstrate and convey the value/benefits of the Animal Health portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver technical lectures to key customers, strategic accounts, and professional veterinary organizations.
- Offer solutions aligned with customer needs and business priorities.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategy to reach and exceed regional/organizational priorities.
- Meet key opinion leaders in clinical and university settings to discuss the portfolio and potential new opportunities.
- Represent Animal Health at veterinary schools, associations, and conferences.
- Act as region technical expert: assess technical training needs and coach sales reps in technical selling.
- Collaborate with R&D, Learning and Development, Marketing, Veterinary Insights & Medical Affairs, and Sales.
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD).
- Experience: 10 years combined relevant experience (minimum 5 years companion animal clinical practice + minimum 5 years in animal health industry or equivalent leadership/management).
Required skills/abilities:
- Translate complex issues into clear content.
- Excellent presentation/facilitation and oral/written communications.
- Serve as medical consultant in vaccines, parasiticides, and therapeutics.
- Influence without direct authority; build networks.
- Innovative problem-solving; MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Industry-relevant software (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva, Power BI).
- Work effectively cross-functionally; independently execute Professional Services Veterinarian responsibilities.
Preferred skills/experience:
- Companion animal vaccines/parasites/therapeutics experience.
- Advanced degrees/research; delivery of structured training; leadership/management.
