Clinical Research and Development
Main Responsibilities:
- Accountable for statistical aspects on translational strategies of clinical development plans for assigned project(s).
- Develop exploratory statistical analysis plans (SAP); conduct/oversee analyses; prepare clinical study reports with medical writer and team.
- Provide innovative, high-quality statistical support to new assay/platform efforts for new vaccine targets; oversee statistical elements in translational studies.
- Serve as statistical subject matter expert, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across research, immunology, biomarker labs, clinical development, and global project management.
- Apply/develop novel solutions to technical problems; generate technical reports and publication manuscripts; represent the company at external conferences.
- Promote quality and productivity through development, teaching, and proper application of statistical thinking and tools; utilize AI while ensuring quality.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures according to SOPs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
- 3+ years of experience in translational medicine or related field (industry or academia).
- Proven track record of scientific publications.
- Strong statistical methodology and computational skills; proficiency in R required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience applying advanced statistical methods (e.g., Bayesian statistics, linear/non-linear modeling, machine learning).
- Ability to conduct original research and simulations independently.
- Multi-tasking and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to influence others across functions in a global environment and drive organizational change.
