Role: Postdoctoral Researcher specializing in Agentic AI for Neurodegeneration within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on integrating multi-modal neuroscience data to advance AI-driven drug discovery. Responsibilities: characterize and integrate diverse biomedical data types—such as pathology, neuroimaging, omics, and clinical records—develop data pipelines, and establish evaluation frameworks for AI systems that synthesize across modalities. Critically assess AI literature synthesis, define standards for evidence incorporation, and develop benchmarks for model validation. Collaborate with AI scientists and academic partners, translate findings into actionable insights, and publish in scientific venues. Requirements: PhD (or MD/PhD) recently completed or soon to be completed in neuroscience, neurobiology, biomedical informatics, with deep knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. Hands-on experience with at least two data modalities (imaging, digital pathology, omics, clinical data), familiarity with agentic AI frameworks, and proficiency in Python and ML/data engineering tools. Preferred skills include building data pipelines for heterogeneous data, benchmarking AI systems, NLP, graph analytics, and cloud infrastructure expertise. High-value specifics include a focus on neurodegeneration research, multi-modal data integration, and AI evaluation standards development. Location: Fixed-term, 2-year position at one of several US offices, no remote option. Travel not specified.
