Responsibilities:
- Lead the project cost, schedule and documentation sub-team on a Strategic Capital Project.
- Drive schedule, execution, risk management, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operating cost and cycle time; lead projects to achieve savings.
- Improve organizational capability by assisting with training and mentoring on Business Excellence tools; mentor and lead Sponsors and kaizen candidates.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project coordination, communication, and execution; set and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Develop project plans for delivery within budget, scope, and schedule; provide oversight and guidance to achieve deliverables.
- Facilitate analysis of opportunities and risks; provide recommendations to the business/manufacturing site.
- Lead project direction alignment while managing stakeholder relationships.
- Execute LSS project management processes, tools, and templates.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality and cost objectives.
- Support and motivate teams for timely, successful project delivery.
- Provide training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders (if needed).
Qualifications:
- 6β10 years business experience; minimum 1 year LSS experience.
- Bachelorβs degree required (preferred: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Management).
- Accredited LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred.
- Financial acumen; ability to assess project ROI.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills.
