Transformation Discovery Co-Op

Role: Co-op in Plant Biotechnology within Bayer Crop Science's Cell Biology team, focusing on improving transformation processes for major row crops through experimental research. Responsibilities: design, conduct, and interpret experiments to develop enhanced Agrobacterium-based transformation protocols; collaborate with system improvement scientists and production teams to optimize and transfer technologies; document research outcomes and ensure safety compliance. Requirements: enrolled in or completed a Master’s or PhD in Plant Biology, Developmental Biology, Genetics, or related fields; experience with plant tissue culture and transformation; strong troubleshooting, communication, and team skills; current knowledge of scientific advances.
