Trade Analytics Senior Manager

Role: The Trade and Distribution Data Analytics Manager supports business performance insights within Vertex's diverse pipeline, spanning small molecules, gene therapy, cell therapy, and RNA modalities. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis, market research, supporting new product launches, and managing trade/distribution performance metrics through cross-functional collaboration. The role involves developing dashboards, maintaining databases, and executing analytical projects, with a focus on distribution analytics such as demand trends, order activity, and inventory statuses. Qualifications: Bachelor's in a scientific or business discipline, typically 4+ years in pharma/biotech industry, with strong SQL, SAS, Excel, and data visualization skills (Tableau, PowerBI). Experience with CRM systems, ETL processes, Snowflake, and pharmaceutical data (e.g., de-identified patient data) is preferred. High-value specifics include involvement across multiple therapeutic areas (CF, sickle cell, beta-thalassemia, acute pain, diabetes, kidney diseases), and development stages from Phase 2 to post-market. The role reports to management, collaborates with teams like Market Access, Contract Operations, Finance, and Data Sciences. It is a remote-eligible position with flexible work arrangements and occasional travel.
