Toxicology Technologist

Role: Laboratory Technologist specializing in clinical specimen testing at Labcorp in Houston, TX. Objectives: perform routine and complex lab procedures, ensure specimen quality, and deliver accurate patient test results. Responsibilities: operate and troubleshoot lab instrumentation, evaluate reagents, maintain quality control, and process specimens as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's in a Chemical, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; 1+ year lab testing experience or MLS degree; proficiency with lab systems; ability to work independently and as part of a team; pass color blindness test; flexible to overtime and shifts. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience; ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical laboratory testing, routine and complex procedures, specimen evaluation, instrumentation troubleshooting. Work setup: evening shift (Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00pm–12:30am), some overtime. Standards: adherence to safety, GxP, and quality protocols, attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills.
