Position Summary:
The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based role responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with national and regional US key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the rare nephrology space. The role supports the growth of FILSPARI (sparsentan) for IgAN and FSGS and collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Insights and Analytics, Sales management, Patient Advocacy, Compliance, Sales Training, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities:
- Implement regional cross-functional account strategy and KOL engagement plans with brand team and field partners (MSLs and sales representatives)
- Coordinate with marketing to identify KOL partnering opportunities and support KOL recruitment for marketing initiatives
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize KOL sentiments, competitor activities, and market trends; provide regular updates and strategic recommendations
- Ensure compliant, fair-balanced, and effective message delivery across promotional educational channels
- Enlist appropriate KOLs to support commercial activities with the FILSPARI brand team
- Identify and vet qualified promotional speakers with field partners
- Support contracting, training, and ongoing educational efforts for contracted promotional speakers

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of related marketing experience in specialty or rare disease marketing

Additional Skills/Requirements:
- Strong scientific acumen; understanding of specialty clinical medicine
- Proven leadership and high performance; ability to build internal and cross-functional relationships
- Demonstrated ability to build KOL relationships and execute engagement plans
- Pharmaceutical industry experience (preferably small molecule)
- Strong collaboration, organization, communication, and ability to manage complexity
- Track record managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths
- Adaptable to changing plans/strategies
- Field-based: candidate must live in region; travel 50–60% domestically; minimum 3 days/week in field; some weekend work; face-to-face/onsite required (not 100% remote)

Compensation:
- Target base pay range: $162,000–$211,000
