Position Summary
- The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a field-based role responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with national and regional US key opinion leaders (KOLs) in rare nephrology.
- Reports to the Director, Thought Leader Liaisons. Supports growth of FILSPARI (sparsentan) for IgAN and FSGS.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Insights & Analytics, Sales management, Patient Advocacy, Compliance, Sales Training, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.
Responsibilities
- Implement regional cross-functional account strategy and KOL engagement plan with brand team and field partners (MSLs and sales).
- Coordinate with marketing to identify KOL partnering opportunities and assist with KOL recruitment.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize KOL sentiments, competitor activities, and market trends; provide regular updates and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliant, fair-balanced, effective message delivery across promotional educational channels.
- Enlist appropriate KOLs to support commercial activities.
- Identify and vet qualified promotional speakers with field partners.
- Support contracting, training, and ongoing educational efforts for contracted promotional speakers.
Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business or Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of related marketing experience in specialty or rare disease marketing.

- Live in the region; travel 50β60% domestically; minimum 3 days/week in field; some weekend work; not 100% remote (face-to-face/onsite in San Diego essential).

Compensation
- Target base pay range: $162,000.00β$211,000.00.
