Role Summary
The Thought Leader Liaison, Hematology - Central is a remote-based, hybrid role supporting Venclexta. The Central territory includes the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and parts of Michigan, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. The TLL engages and maintains relationships with leading hematology external experts to provide insights that shape strategy and tactics, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive the business forward. Must demonstrate the ability to lead without authority and contribute to a collaborative, integrated commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain accountability for interactions and feedback with national and regional oncology hematology external experts
- Ensure external expert perspectives are shared and considered consistently across leadership and the Integrated Brand Team
- Manage planning and execution of marketing consultancy arrangements
- Engage in congress-related engagement activities nationally, including supporting and executing TL strategies and tactics
- Partner with internal cross-functional partners including sales, marketing, medical affairs, legal, compliance, and managed care
- Collaborate with brand to ensure speaker bureau fully staffed, trained, and aligned to educational needs
- Ensure a culture of compliance
- Develop and execute national and regional advisory boards in collaboration with brand team and co-promotion partners
- Partner to develop, refine, and execute the Venclexta External Expert Engagement strategy
- Contribute to the formation of regional strategies with cross-functional partners
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and/or supporting the Marketing Team and overall franchise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s degree preferred (Basic Requirements)
- Previous hematology experience
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, collaboration and data discussion skill sets
- Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding qualitative and/or quantitative goals
- Proven thorough knowledge of commercial issues in a highly competitive oncology therapeutic area
- Business travel, by air or car, is regularly required
- Remote-based role requiring the ability to work effectively while traveling and delivering timely results
- Preferred: 5+ years in pharma/diagnostic/biotech, oncology experience; hematology thought leader engagement; insight collection activities; field management/marketing/commercial experience; healthcare certification; advanced life sciences degree; oncology market knowledge; launch experience
