Main Responsibilities:
- Develop territory-specific sales strategies and accelerate Tzield adoption across providers and accounts.
- Educate endocrinology and primary care providers on Tzield and Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) screening.
- Build belief in Tzieldβs mechanistic rationale and clinical narrative (e.g., beta cell preservation, approved indication, efficacy/safety).
- Develop in-depth knowledge of key accounts, including barriers to Tzield use.
- Execute priority account strategies with SAMs; engage endocrinology and primary care providers on Tzield use.
- For non-priority endocrinologists, develop and execute growth-oriented account/business plans (e.g., account mapping, influence mapping).
- Identify and engage account champions/KOLs to communicate with peers and patients.
- Build belief in early T1D detection and the importance of screening in asymptomatic, undiagnosed populations.
- Conduct territory-level planning to prioritize T1D ecosystem education/engagement.
- Own execution of screening strategy to engage PCP/Ped on early detection and screening.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to emphasize urgent referrals for patients within a narrow treatment window.
- Educate on at-risk populations, screening/monitoring best practices, and value of early detection (e.g., DKA avoidance).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional Sanofi teams; attend meetings as directed.
- Maintain legal/regulatory/ethical/admin/financial compliance.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. required.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; account management and/or rare specialty product experience.
- Ability to use data to manage sales performance in territories.
- Proven results increasing educational awareness, provider adoption, and engagement.
- Experience launching products in the field.
- Matrix experience across sales, medical, and support functions.
- Strong business acumen, solution-oriented mindset, strategic planning/execution.
- Robust communication skills; high accountability.
- Valid driverβs license; travel up to 50%.
