Role Summary

As a Therapeutic Specialist (TSS) – Nashville, you will serve as a front-line ambassador for Crinetics, engaging healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care and therapy adoption. You will build relationships by sharing clinical knowledge, understanding patient needs, and providing insights on Crinetics’ therapies. In collaboration with Strategic Account Managers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute insights to shape strategy, address access challenges, and maintain a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to effectively target, penetrate, and establish a network of relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
  • Effectively call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties
  • Call points include Physician’s office, Hospital Pharmacy, OR, ICU, etc.
  • Fully understand and be able to communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations
  • Manage hybrid relationships through a mix of in-person (70+%) and virtual engagement – being able to leverage next gen ways of working to maximize efficiency
  • Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies to capitalize on opportunities with the greatest ROI
  • Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goal
  • Manage and track territory specific information through a CRM system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Required: Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships
  • Required: Demonstrated growth in sales while managing your own territory
  • Required: Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Required: Business acumen and strong comprehension of difficult clinical information
  • Required: Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real time situations
  • Required: Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Required: Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Required: Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills
  • Required: Ability to work with a CRM tool (i.e., Veeva, Salesforce)
  • Required: Independent, with an ability to work within a team
  • Required: Strong Leadership Skills
  • Required: Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
  • Preferred: Endocrinology Experience is preferred
  • Preferred: Hospital Sales Experience – familiarity with P&T/Formulary process
  • Preferred: Knowledge of local/regional health systems

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Healthcare Industry sales experience

Additional Requirements

  • Travel up to 50% of time
