Role Summary
The Therapeutic Sales Specialist is a high-impact field-based role focused on launching and sustaining products in the assigned territory. You will champion patients with exceptional business and clinical acumen, driving launches with urgency and a patient-centric approach. You will partner with cross-functional teams to execute territory plans and meet sales goals while navigating regulatory and company guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and/or exceeding sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information for Acoramidis
- Engage customers in clinically relevant discussions utilizing approved materials in a customer-centric approach
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for business growth or areas of concern in the territory
- Own territory business planning and execution of key company initiatives
- Adhere to company guidelines, maintain integrity, trust, respect, and accountability; comply with applicable policies and regulations
- Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, and other cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement dynamic territory plans by analyzing business, competition, and market; build and maintain relationships with KOLs and hospital staff
- Navigate hospital formulary processes to position and ensure product availability
- Anticipate challenges, adjust priorities, and develop solutions to address issues
- Maintain high proficiency in selling skills, clinical knowledge, and territory market understanding
- Collaborate with peers to achieve corporate objectives
- Plan and organize schedule for maximum efficiency to achieve goals
- Act as an ambassador for the company and present a professional image with integrity and respect
- Complete tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership
- Ensure activities comply with regulations, compliance, and Pharma guidelines

Qualifications
- Required: 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 5+ years in Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR
- Required: BS/BA; MBA Preferred but not required
- Required: Product/indication launch experience in highly competitive markets
- Required: Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business acumen, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Required: Ability to prioritize and execute on plan; proven leadership with high accountability
- Required: Ability to influence without authority internally and externally
- Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Required: Proficiency with remote technologies to engage customers
- Required: Adherence to high ethical standards
- Required: Significant travel is required
