Role Summary
The Therapeutic Sales Specialist is a high-impact position critical to BridgeBio’s success, serving as a patient champion with strong business and clinical acumen to execute product launches with excellence. They will bring passion, urgency, and a get-it-done attitude to addressing unmet patient needs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and/or exceeding sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets
- Demonstrating subject matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information for Acoramidis
- Engaging customers in clinically relevant discussions using approved materials with a customer-centric approach
- Analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for growth or areas of concern in the territory
- Being responsible for territory business planning and execution of key company initiatives
- Adhering to company guidelines and demonstrating honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and accountability in all responsibilities
- Partnering with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB and other cross-functional teammates to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Developing and implementing dynamic territory plans by analyzing business, competitive landscape, and market to drive growth; maintaining professional relationships with targeted KOLs and hospital personnel
- Navigating the hospital formulary process and implementing strategies for product positioning and availability
- Anticipating challenges, adjusting priorities, and developing solutions to address issues
- Maintaining proficiency in selling skills, clinical, market, and product knowledge and the territory business environment
- Collaborating with peers to ensure corporate objectives and initiatives are achieved
- Planning and organizing schedules for maximum efficiency to achieve goals
- Representing the company with integrity and professionalism
- Completing tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership and ensuring activities comply with regulations and pharma guidelines
- Demonstrating critical capabilities in areas such as competitive mindset, customer focus, and account success, with emphasis on building relationships, clinical knowledge, and teamwork
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 5+ years in Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR
- BS/BA required; MBA preferred but not required
- Product/indication launch experience: track record of launching new products or new indications into competitive markets
- Strong leadership, planning and organizational, analytics, business acumen, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute plans
- Proven leadership with high accountability
- Ability to influence without authority internally and externally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent skills using remote technology to engage with customers
- Adherence to BridgeBio’s ethical standards
- Significant travel is required
