Role: Lead biomarker strategy development and implementation within the Cardiovascular and Metabolism (CVM) therapeutic area, supporting project teams from early to late phases and mature assets. Responsibilities: manage a matrixed team of experts, develop disease and mechanistic biomarkers, contribute to clinical protocol review, and lead translational data initiatives integrating multi-modal datasets (omics, imaging, digital) for disease understanding and precision medicine approaches. Requirements: MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with 5+ years' experience, deep expertise in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases (especially ASCVD), and a proven record of leadership, biomarker development, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Skills include biostatistics, bioinformatics, genomics, imaging, or data science, with high-impact publications. Preferred: Board certification or equivalent, fluency in English, additional languages advantageous.
