Role: The Therapeutic Account Manager (TAM) focuses on advancing Mirum's liver disease portfolio through strategic customer engagement, account management, and disease awareness initiatives in rare cholestatic liver diseases. Responsibilities include developing territory plans, identifying high-opportunity accounts, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, and influencing clinical decision-making across complex networks. The TAM maintains deep clinical knowledge, effectively communicates complex scientific data, and promotes treatment initiation and persistence aligned with approved indications. They collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to optimize patient care and access pathways, while capturing market insights. The role demands a high degree of entrepreneurial drive, resilience, and ethical conduct in a rapidly evolving rare disease environment. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech sales, with experience in rare diseases, hepatology, or complex specialties highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate strong clinical aptitude, account-based selling experience, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders. Travel up to 70% is expected, including frequent overnight stays. The position is remote/hybrid, supporting engagement across healthcare providers, health systems, and referral networks.
