The TAM communicates complex clinical data, influences clinical decision-making, and promotes disease awareness and treatment initiation, ensuring patient support pathways are optimized. They collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, and other teams to align account strategies and gather insights. The role demands deep knowledge of rare liver diseases, diagnostic pathways, mechanisms of action, and reimbursement landscape, with a focus on complex specialty care. The TAM engages in insight-led, peer-to-peer interactions, challenges clinical inertia, and addresses barriers to treatment. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of pharma/biotech sales experience, preferably in rare diseases or hepatology, with demonstrated success in complex specialty markets.
