Responsibilities include territory planning aligned with regional goals, identifying high-opportunity accounts in hepatology and gastroenterology, and influencing clinical decision-making through insight-led engagement. The TAM operates independently with high ownership, demonstrating resilience and entrepreneurial drive in an evolving rare disease landscape. Qualifications: Bachelorβs degree required; 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales, with preferred experience in rare diseases, hepatology, or complex specialty markets. Proven success in account-based selling, understanding of access/reimbursement, and ability to interpret performance data are essential. Strong clinical aptitude, emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to build trust with sophisticated healthcare professionals are required. Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight and weekend commitments, is necessary. High-value specifics include focus on hepatology and gastroenterology, rare disease therapeutics, and a strategic, insight-driven approach.
