Territory Sales Representative (TSR)
Accountabilities
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Maintain advanced product and disease state expertise; deliver clinically focused messages to Gastroenterologists, Primary Care Physicians, APPs, and office staff, introducing new treatment options and addressing concerns.
- Build understanding of territory market dynamics and market access opportunities to accelerate pull-through.
- Develop territory business plans with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists (SAS).
- Coordinate with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to execute initiatives and share best practices.
- Complete administrative requirements, including CRM usage and expense reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 2+ years successful medical sales (e.g., dental, medical device, laboratory, diagnostics) OR 1+ year pharmaceutical sales; GI specialty experience preferred.
- Proven, consistent sales success; experience launching new products.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions.
- Business acumen/analytical expertise.
- Strong relationship building across office staff and the customer network.
- Success in live and virtual interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills; Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital platforms (e.g., Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom).
- Valid driver’s license; safe driving record.
- Some overnight travel and travel to national/regional/corporate offices may be required.
