Primary Care Territory Manager
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate selling skills and pull-thru execution by strategically allocating resources to drive results.
- Develop effective customer relationships and leverage them to drive results.
- Use business analytics (customer data, resources, tools) to target and access valuable accounts.
- Build account and territory plans; manage territory by analyzing data to target high-prescribing HCPs.
- Demonstrate expertise across the product portfolio, therapeutic areas, and managed care.
- Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to target HCPs.
- Meet or exceed call average and sales performance expectations.
- Demonstrate market and industry knowledge of relevant products and competitors.
- Apply clinical/disease state knowledge and understand impact on patients and providers.
- Complete administrative tasks timely.
- Attend sales training, sales meetings, and national/regional conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 2 years business-to-business sales experience preferred (track record of success).
- Previous pharmaceutical sales strongly preferred.
- Resides in or within close proximity to assigned geography required.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving history; overnight travel may be required.
- Strong business acumen, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, tenacity, and communication skills.
- Ability to drive in a geographically large territory for long periods daily.
- Ability to lift sample boxes up to 25 pounds (reasonable accommodations may be provided).
