Specialty Territory Manager Responsibilities:
- Sell and drive pull-through execution by allocating resources strategically and tactically
- Develop and leverage effective customer relationships
- Apply business analytics knowledge (customer data, resources, and tools)
- Build account and territory plans
- Use available data to target and access the most valuable accounts
- Demonstrate expertise across the product portfolio, therapeutic areas, and managed care
- Manage territory by analyzing data to target high-prescribing HCPs
- Deliver effective sales presentations to target HCPs
- Meet or exceed call average and sales performance expectations
- Use market and industry knowledge relative to the portfolio and competitor products
- Apply clinical and disease-state knowledge and its impact on patients and providers
- Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Attend sales training, sales meetings, and national/regional conferences
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree required
- Minimum 2 years GI specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; demonstrated track record of success
- Reside in or within close proximity to assigned geography required
- Valid driverโs license with good driving history; strong business acumen, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, tenacity, and communication skills
- Overnight travel may be required
- Ability to drive in a geographically large territory for long periods each day
- Ability to lift sample boxes up to 25 pounds (reasonable accommodations may be provided)
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
