Territory Manager
Position Summary
- Launch and grow Mineralys’ first commercial product in an assigned territory by educating HCPs, building trusted customer relationships, driving adoption, and achieving territory sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of disease state, clinical data, and treatment guidelines.
- Build and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand strategy, launch priorities, and sales objectives.
- Drive product adoption and compliant utilization among targeted HCPs.
- Analyze territory trends, customer needs, and competitive activity; identify opportunities and course-correct.
- Deliver against sales goals, call activity expectations, and launch milestones.
- Maintain accurate territory reporting and CRM documentation.
Customer Engagement / Selling Excellence
- Execute strategic call plans using data and insights.
- Demonstrate curiosity/adaptability and use innovative approaches to customer engagement.
- Use business acumen to assess market dynamics and inform territory planning.
- Build/sustain trusted relationships with HCPs, office staff, and decision-makers.
- Communicate clinical data, product value, access information, and appropriate patient identification compliantly.
- Present product effectively and address questions.
- Partner to address barriers to patient access and support pull-through.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal and adjacent field partners; share insights, provide market/competitive intelligence, and support meetings/initiatives.
Compliance / Culture
- Operate with integrity and comply with all policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience preferred (other relevant sales considered).
- Specialty sales (cardiometabolic) preferred.
- Prior launch experience preferred.
- Track record achieving/exceeding sales goals; strong customer relationships.
- Strong clinical acumen; ability to communicate complex scientific information.
- Excellent territory planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial; thrive in fast-paced launch environment.
- Valid driver’s license; willing to travel within territory.
Travel
- Up to 60% travel.
Benefits / Pay
- Eligible for standard company benefits (medical, dental, vision, time off, 401K) and incentive plans tied to performance.
- US Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000.
