Role Summary
Territory Manager (Neuroscience) responsible for developing and implementing a business/sales plan to maximize net sales and conduct business with key targeted healthcare providers in Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, SC. The role focuses on meeting sales objectives, building trusted customer relationships, and sharing market insights to optimize brand strategy within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., to meet or exceed objectives.
- Create pre-call plan objectives and post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance; effectively handle objections and drive actions to close on every sales call.
- Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between Client and customers.
- Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise and share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to achieve alignment and optimize brand strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree required
- 2โ3 years successful business-to-business sales, pharmaceutical sales, or similar related combination of education and experience preferred
- Psychiatry sales experience a plus
- Resides in or within proximity to assigned geography required
Additional Requirements
- Travel 50โ75% overnight travel may be required for this role
- Lifting sample boxes (up to 25 pounds) is required for this role. Reasonable accommodations can be provided
- Driving a company vehicle; must have a valid driverโs license with a good driving history
- Driving in a geographically large territory for long periods of time each day
