Role Summary
Territory Manager (Neuroscience) based in Baltimore, MD, with coverage including surrounding areas (Baltimore, Gaithersburg, and Silver Spring) to develop and implement a business/sales plan and conduct sales with key targeted healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc., to meet or exceed objectives.
- Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance; handle objections and concerns to close on sales calls.
- Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships to achieve win-win agreements between clients and customers.
- Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, and product/clinical/sales insights with in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to align strategy and execution.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs Degree
- Preferred: 2-3 years of successful B2B sales, pharmaceutical sales, or related education/experience
- Preferred: Psychiatry sales experience
- Required: Resides in or within proximity to assigned geography
- Required: Valid driverโs license with a good driving history
- Required: Willingness to drive in a geographically large territory for long periods
- Required: Travel 50-75% overnight travel may be required
- Required: Lifting up to 25 pounds; accommodations available if unable to lift
