Role Summary
Territory Manager, Eye Care β Upper Manhattan, NY is responsible for leading sales in the Upper Manhattan region (Harlem, South Bronx, Washington Heights). You will meet or exceed territory sales objectives, develop partnerships with targeted eye care professionals, and represent Viatris' Eye Care vision and culture to the community. You will leverage disease-state knowledge and market trends to drive pull-through and deliver patient-centric education, while collaborating with internal partners to optimize territory performance. Travel within the territory may be required.
Responsibilities
- The Upper Manhattan, NY territory includes Harlem, South Bronx, and Washington Heights, NY.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and fully represents the vision and culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Appropriately leverages expertise of disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry and business trends to effectively manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly and annual basis. Effectively drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Works collaboratively with all internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Works closely with the field leadership team and internal partners to consistently provide customer insights and offers feedback on strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrates company culture norms daily through customer interactions, collaboration with internal partners, and a willingness to support others across the organization.
- Effectively utilizes territory business planning tools to help uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies while demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Required: Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Required: Valid Driverβs License and acceptable driving record.
- Preferred: Eye care experience.
- Required: Must meet all access requirements for target offices and health care facilities within assigned territory.
- Required: Proficiency in speaking, comprehension, reading and writing English.
Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
Additional Requirements
- Travel: Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed.
