Role Summary

Territory Manager, Eye Care – Phoenix, AZ. Drives Eye Care sales in the Phoenix Metro and southern Arizona region, building and maintaining partnerships with targeted eye care accounts and delivering compliant, education-focused messages to support disease-state awareness. Represents the Viatris vision and culture to Eye Care professionals and collaborates with internal teams to optimize pull-through opportunities while meeting quarterly and annual sales goals. Travel to accounts and health care facilities may be required.

Responsibilities

  • The Phoenix, AZ territory includes Phoenix Metro and southern Arizona.
  • Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
  • Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and fully represents the vision & culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
  • Appropriately leverages expertise of disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry and business trends to effectively manage and pull-through business opportunities.
  • Delivers MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
  • Achieves business goals on a quarterly & annual basis. Effectively drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Works collaboratively with all internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
  • Works closely with the field leadership team and internal partners to consistently provide customer insights and offers feedback on strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrates company culture norms daily through customer interactions, collaboration with internal partners, and a willingness to support others across the organization.
  • Effectively utilizes territory business planning tools to help uncover additional business opportunities.
  • Manages and utilizes approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
  • Complies with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies while demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience with a proven and successful track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
  • Required: Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
  • Required: Must have valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Required: Ability to travel. Depending on the territory, overnight travel may be needed.
  • Preferred: Eye care experience.
  • Required: Must meet all access requirements for target offices and health care facilities within assigned territory.
  • Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
  • Required: Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).

Additional Requirements

  • Travel expectations: Ability to travel as required; overnight travel may be needed.
