Role Summary
Territory Manager, Eye Care โ Peabody, MA. Manage the Peabody, MA territory including Lynn, MA; Lowell, MA; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; Nashua, NH; Manchester, NH; and Dover, NH. Meet and exceed territory sales objectives, develop and maintain partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and represent Viatrisโ Eye Care portfolio and culture to the Eye Care community. Leverage disease-state knowledge, marketplace dynamics, and industry trends to identify and pull through business opportunities. Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages to target ECP accounts and provide disease-state information. Collaborate with internal partners, share customer insights, and support strategic initiatives while maintaining compliance and professionalism. Use territory planning tools to uncover opportunities and maximize pull-through, and manage resources effectively.
Responsibilities
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and fully represents the vision & culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Appropriately leverages disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry and business trends to effectively manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR-approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly & annual basis. Effectively drives territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Works collaboratively with all internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Works closely with the field leadership team and internal partners to consistently provide customer insights and offers feedback on strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrates company culture norms daily through customer interactions, collaboration with internal partners, and a willingness to support others across the organization.
- Effectively utilizes territory business planning tools to help uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies while demonstrating a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum of a Bachelorโs degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and understanding of medical terminology. Combination of experience and/or education will be considered.
- Required: Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Required: Must have valid Driverโs License and acceptable driving record.
- Required: Ability to travel. Depending on the territory, overnight travel may be needed.
- Preferred: Eye care experience.
- Required: Must meet all access requirements for target offices and health care facilities within assigned territory.
- Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Required: Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.
