Role Summary
Territory Manager, Eye Care – Dallas, TX is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives within the assigned Dallas area, developing and maintaining strong partnerships with targeted eye care accounts, and representing Viatris’ Eye Care portfolio to the community. You will leverage disease-state knowledge and market insights to identify opportunities, deliver compliant, education-focused messages to eye care professionals, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize territory performance.
Responsibilities
- The Dallas, TX territory includes Dallas, Frisco, Plano, Irving, McKinney, Rockwall, and surrounding areas.
- Meets and exceeds corporate sales objectives at the territory level.
- Develops and maintains strong working partnerships with targeted ECP accounts, and fully represents the vision and culture of Viatris to the Eye Care community.
- Appropriately leverages disease state knowledge, the marketplace, and industry and business trends to effectively manage and pull-through business opportunities.
- Delivers MLR approved, education-focused and patient-centric messages, as well as appropriate disease-state information to target ECP accounts.
- Achieves business goals on a quarterly and annual basis, driving territory performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Works collaboratively with all internal partners to create a positive experience for targeted Eye Care accounts and their patients.
- Works closely with the field leadership team and internal partners to provide customer insights and feedback on strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrates company culture norms daily through customer interactions and collaboration with internal partners, and a willingness to support others across the organization.
- Effectively utilizes territory business planning tools to uncover additional business opportunities.
- Manages and utilizes approved resources effectively to maximize pull-through on potential and growth opportunities.
- Complies with all legal, regulatory, and compliance policies while maintaining integrity and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical, medical or related sales experience with a proven track record in technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Required: Must live within geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Required: Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Required: Ability to travel; overnight travel may be needed depending on the territory.
- Preferred: Eye care experience.
- Required: Must meet all access requirements for target offices and health care facilities within assigned territory.
- Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Required: Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.
