Role Summary
Fort Lauderdale-based Territory Leader for a biopharma eye care portfolio. You will lead territory disease-state education and drive the launch and ongoing growth of XDEMVY, owning activity and results with a focus on compliance and high performance. You will be an expert in account management, business ownership, and sales execution, building and nurturing relationships with key eye care customers to maximize territory performance for Tarsus.
Responsibilities
- Account Management & Eye Care Experts: Develop deep eye care clinical knowledge, including anatomy, disease states, products, XDEMVY and office treatment patterns; build relationships with all key stakeholders; execute pull-through tactics with managed care considerations; understand how ophthalmology/optometry practice functions impact prescribing and pull-through; maximize managed care opportunities and share feedback; engage key opinion leaders and champion compliant promotion aligned with corporate values.
- Business Acumen & Sales Execution: Exceed sales performance goals and productivity metrics; use analytical skills to prioritize customer engagements and extend product trial and utilization; monitor key performance metrics and adjust approach based on data; set actionable business plans and align selling activities accordingly; share insights with leadership; maintain high ethics and compliance.
- Business Owners & Culture Champions: Promote a culture of commitment, empowerment and teamwork; collaborate with district leaders, marketing, market access, medical affairs, sales ops, inside sales, training and other stakeholders; provide frontline feedback; ensure PDMA compliance and industry guidelines; share best practices to elevate national performance; maximize resources for territory success.
Qualifications
- Required: 2+ years pharmaceutical sales / relevant healthcare sales experience or a proven track record of business-to-business sales.
- Preferred: Proven track record of pharmaceutical launch experience.
- Preferred: Eye Care experience.
- Established track record with evidence of problem solving and collaboration.
- Highly adaptable to change; able to pivot quickly with new market information in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and change management skills.
- Proven ability to escalate difficult issues and make tough decisions.
Education
- Bachelorβs degree in business, science, or related field or commensurate experience.

Additional Requirements
- This is a field-based position reporting to the District Sales Leader.
- Travel will be required within the selling geography and beyond to sales meetings, possibly across various customer conventions and occasional travel to headquarters in Irvine, CA.
- 40%β50% travel required in some larger geographies.
