Role Summary
We are hiring frontline sales professionals to be part of a diverse and elite biopharma sales team dedicated to helping patients in need. With a laser focus on the eye care customer, the Territory Leader will be responsible for territory disease state education along with the launch and ongoing growth of XDEMVY. They will deliver high standards for the ongoing launch and beyond and will champion a culture of outstanding performance, compliance and full ownership of all activity and results. The Territory Leader will build and foster relationships with key eye care customers, maximize sales in the territory, and contribute to the growth and performance of Tarsus. This role suits someone who thinks strategically, operates with tactical precision, and strives for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Account Management & Eye Care Experts: educate on anatomy, disease state, products and XDEMVY; build relationships with key stakeholders; execute pull-through tactics; understand ophthalmology/optometry practices and how roles impact prescribing and pull-through; maximize managed care opportunities and engage key opinion leaders; champion compliant promotion.
- Business Acumen & Sales Execution: exceed sales goals and productivity metrics; use data to prioritize engagements and drive product trial and utilization; monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy; set actionable business plans; share insights with leadership; maintain high standards of ethics and compliance.
- Business Owners & Culture Champions: foster commitment, empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement; collaborate with district leaders, marketing, market access, medical affairs, sales ops, inside sales, training, and other stakeholders; provide frontline feedback; ensure PDMA and industry compliance; share best practices to elevate national performance; maximize resources.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs degree in business, science, or related field or commensurate experience; 2+ years pharmaceutical or relevant healthcare sales experience (required).
- Preferred: Proven track record of pharmaceutical launch experience; Eye Care experience.
- Establishing track record in problem solving, collaboration, adaptability, and strong communication; comfortable with rapid market changes; capable of escalating issues and making decisions.

Additional Requirements
- This is a field-based position reporting to the District Sales Leader.
- Geography: candidates must live in Livermore, Danville, Stockton, or Turlock.
- Travel: 40%β50% travel required within the territory and to HQ or events as needed.
