Role Summary

Territory Leader – East Bay. Lead frontline biopharma sales focused on eye care, responsible for territory disease state education and the launch and ongoing growth of XDEMVY. Deliver high standards for the launch, foster a culture of performance and compliance, own activity and results, and build relationships with key eye care customers. Contribute to growth and performance of the company with strategic thinking and precise execution. This is a field-based role requiring travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Eye Care Experts: develop expertise in eye care clinical information, anatomy, disease state, products, XDEMVY, and office treatment patterns; build relationships with key stakeholders; navigate pull-through and managed care hurdles; understand how ophthalmology/optometry practices operate and impact prescribing and pull-through; maximize managed care opportunities and provide feedback; engage key opinion leaders and ensure compliant promotion.
  • Business Acumen & Sales Execution: exceed sales performance goals and productivity metrics; use analytics to prioritize engagements and expand product trial; monitor KPIs regularly and adjust approach based on data; set actionable business plans and align selling activities; share insights with leadership; uphold ethics and compliance standards.
  • Business Owners & Culture Champions: promote commitment, empowerment, teamwork, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement; collaborate with district leaders, marketing, market access, medical affairs, sales ops, inside sales, training, and others; provide frontline feedback; ensure PDMA and industry compliance; share best practices; maximize resources for territory success.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or related field or commensurate experience; 2+ years pharmaceutical or relevant healthcare sales experience; proven B2B sales experience.
  • Preferred: pharmaceutical launch experience; eye care experience.
  • Strong problem solving and collaboration track record; highly adaptable to change; strong communication and change management skills; ability to escalate issues and make tough decisions.

  • Field-based position; travel within the selling geography and to meetings/HQ as needed; 40–50% travel in larger geographies
  • Geography: Livermore, Danville, Stockton, or Turlock residency required
