Role Summary
Territory Business Manager – Primary Immune Deficiency supporting Los Angeles, California. You will be part of the PI Sales Team and report to the Sr. Regional Business Director.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas through driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information, and educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda resources.
- Understand influence points within the office and how each individual affects diagnosis, treatment, and the Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Focus on healthcare professionals (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care) and educate on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency.
- Analyze local and regional business/managed markets trends to build long and short-term goals that lead to a successful business plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and pull-through opportunities within each geography.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment handling confidential patient information in accordance with Takeda practices and policies.
- Embody patient-centric values and follow PTRB (patient, trust, reputation, business) in decision making.
Qualifications
- Required: Clinical sales background with a Bachelor's degree (minimum).
- Required: 5+ years of proven experience in healthcare sales with demonstrated successful outcomes.
- Required: Reside within the assigned territory and manage it comprehensively from border to border.
- Required: Experienced in navigating payer and reimbursement challenges.
- Required: Comfortable with emerging technologies, adaptability to digital tools, and openness to AI-enabled processes.
- Preferred: 7+ years of successful healthcare sales experience, with a strong track record of performance.
- Preferred: Experience with specialty biologics (injections/infusions) and collaboration with specialty pharmacies.
- Preferred: Knowledge of and experience in Plasma-Derived Therapies, Rare Diseases or Biotech.

- Skilled in data acquisition and interpretation to develop effective sales strategies.
- Ability to conduct community education events for healthcare professionals and patients, with flexibility for occasional nights and weekends.

Additional Requirements
- Travel: ~50% to 70% travel, overnight travel expected; territory size and locations determine exact travel amount, occasional weekends may be required.
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.
- Compliance: pass mandatory product training with examinations; training period may affect eligibility for overtime and incentive programs.
