The Position
The Territory Business Manager reports to the District Business Manager and drives product awareness and utilization by achieving and exceeding sales initiatives through effective relationships and partnership with physicians and healthcare professionals within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks
- Develop disease and product knowledge to compliantly promote dermatological products to healthcare professionals
- Engage physicians and targeted healthcare professionals in an assigned geography to deliver clinically relevant information, exceed product goals, and ensure legal/compliance requirements are met
- Use marketplace and reimbursement knowledge to prioritize opportunities
- Utilize direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand
- Apply critical thinking and a strategic mindset to navigate a changing healthcare environment and gain customer access
- Coordinate and collaborate with field-based personnel to proactively address customer needs
- Use patient-focused clinical dialogue for total account management and outstanding customer service
- Develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the dermatology community and related organizations
- Represent the company professionally, ethically, and compliantly at all times
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of quota-driven sales experience; preference for dermatological, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales
- Bachelorโs degree required
- Valid driverโs license and acceptable driving record
- Sustained high performance and aptitude for learning
- Strong customer service urgency
- Ability to travel as required by the territory
- Thrives in a performance-based, fast-paced, results-oriented culture
