The Position
Territory Business Manager will report to the District Business Manager and drive product awareness and utilization by developing relationships and partnering with physicians, working with staff, internal colleagues, and other relevant parties within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks
- Develop disease and product knowledge to compliantly promote Organon’s products to healthcare professionals
- Engage physicians and targeted healthcare professionals within an assigned geography to deliver clinically relevant information and exceed product goals while ensuring legal and compliance regulations
- Utilize marketplace and reimbursement landscape to prioritize opportunities
- Use direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand
- Sell in a changing healthcare environment using critical thinking and strategic mindset to gain customer access
- Coordinate with field-based personnel to proactively address customer needs
- Use patient-focused clinical dialogue for total account management and outstanding customer service
- Develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the Dermatology community and associated organizations
- Represent Organon in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner at all times
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of proven quota-driven sales experience (preferred: dermatological, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Sustained high performance and strong aptitude for learning
- Urgency and customer service orientation
- Ability to travel as required
- Thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to development
- Ability to work in a quickly changing environment; overcome ambiguity; challenge status quo
- Prioritize competing timelines and work independently
- Excellent written/oral communication; skilled presenter to senior stakeholders
- Physical requirement: lift/carry up to 25 pounds from a vehicle to call points
