The Position
The Territory Business Manager will report to the District Business Manager and be responsible for driving product awareness and utilization by achieving and exceeding overall sales initiatives within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks
- Develop strong disease and product knowledge to compliantly promote Organon products to healthcare professionals
- Engage physicians and targeted healthcare professionals to deliver clinically relevant information, exceed product goals, and ensure legal/compliance requirements
- Use knowledge of the marketplace and reimbursement landscape to prioritize opportunities
- Utilize direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand
- Apply critical thinking and a strategic mindset to navigate a changing healthcare environment and gain customer access
- Coordinate and collaborate with field-based personnel to address customer needs
- Use patient-focused clinical dialogue and total account management to deliver outstanding customer service
- Build relationships and maintain an active presence in the Dermatology community and associated organizations
- Represent the company professionally, ethically, and compliantly at all times
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in a quota-driven role; preference for dermatological, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales
- Bachelorโs degree required
- Valid driverโs license and acceptable driving record
- Sustained high performance and strong learning aptitude
- High sense of urgency/customer service orientation
- Ability to travel as required
- Thrives in a performance-based, fast-paced, results-oriented culture
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to development
- Ability to overcome ambiguity and challenge the status quo
- Ability to manage multiple programs with competing timelines and work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; skilled presenter to senior stakeholders
- Physical component: lift/carry up to 25 pounds from a vehicle to call points
