Territory Account Manager (TAM) – long-acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales (San Francisco)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver results through exceptional sales and service
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges/opportunities in target accounts
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans that help HCPs scale their treatment model to reach more patients
- Coordinate and partner with cross-functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators and Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience
- Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive, integrated customer experience through internal communication
- Provide proactive customer service to anticipate and address HCP needs, problems, and requests
- Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem-solving
- Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
- Act consistently with ViiV culture, expectations, and values; embrace ambiguity in a launch environment; escalate issues/risks as needed; follow compliance/regulatory guidelines

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3+ years specialty experience
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary (including overnight travel)
- Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences
- Strong planning/organization, analytical ability, business acumen, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Experience influencing cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in sales success in complex market access coverage situations
- Experience with HCPs procuring/managing/administering cold chain treatment products
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Experience partnering in an integrated account team model with multiple field-based team members

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Annual base salary range (if based in Cambridge, MA; Waltham, MA; Rockville, MD; or San Francisco, CA): $145,500 to $242,500; includes annual bonus and eligibility for share-based long-term incentive
