Territory Account Manager (TAM) β long-acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales (Oakland)
Responsibilities
- Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
- Identify, target, and win new business by working with HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment.
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges/opportunities within target accounts.
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects.
- Prepare and execute customer-tailored business plans to help HCPs scale their treatment model to reach more patients.
- Coordinate and partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience.
- Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and manage internal communication loops to ensure a cohesive, integrated customer experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively anticipating and addressing HCP needs, problems, and requests.
- Deliver/adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem-solving.
- Develop and foster external relationships with key customers and thought leaders.
- Act consistently with company culture, expectations, and values; be an agent of change in a launch environment.
- Escalate issues/risks when needed and understand/follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- BA/BS degree.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience.
- 3+ years specialty experience.
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary (majority of time spent in market; may include overnight travel).
- Valid Driverβs License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences.
- Strong planning/organization, analytical ability, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience selling in complex market access coverage situations.
- Experience with cold chain treatment products with HCPs.
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- Experience partnering in an integrated account team model with multiple field-based team members.
Benefits / Compensation (as stated)
- US base salary range (new hires): $145,500 to $242,500; plus annual bonus and eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
