Territory Account Manager (TAM) – Long-acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales (Harlem/Washington Heights)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver results through exceptional sales and service
- Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges/opportunities in target accounts
- Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans to help HCPs scale their treatment model and reach more patients
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience
- Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure cohesive, integrated customer experience
- Provide proactive customer service by anticipating and addressing HCP needs, problems, and requests
- Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve performance goals using KPIs and business problem-solving
- Develop and foster external relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders
- Act in line with compliance, accountabilities, and ViiV’s values; understand and follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Escalate issues/risks as needed and “speak up”
- Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment; view setbacks as learning
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- 3+ years’ specialty experience
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary (including overnight travel); majority of time spent in market
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences
- Strong planning/organization, analytical ability, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Experience influencing/collaborating cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in sales success in complex market access coverage
- Experience working with HCPs on cold chain treatment products (procure/manage/administer)
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Experience partnering in an integrated account team model with multiple field-based team members
