Territory Account Manager (TAM) β Oral Treatment (Specialty Sales)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver results through exceptional sales and service.
- Identify, target, and win new business by working with HCPs to adopt a new approach to HIV treatment.
- Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges/opportunities in target accounts.
- Use data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high-priority prospects.
- Prepare and execute tailored business plans to help HCPs scale their treatment model to reach more patients.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience.
- Provide proactive customer service to anticipate and address HCP needs and requests.
- Deliver and adapt execution plans using KPIs, scaling successes, and business problem solving.
- Develop relationships with key influential customers and thought leaders.
- Act in line with ViiV culture/values; embrace ambiguity in a launch environment; escalate risks/issues as needed; follow compliance and regulatory guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree.
- 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience.
- 3+ years specialty experience.
- Domestic travel as necessary (overnight at times; majority in market).
- Valid Driverβs License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business/Marketing/Life Sciences.
- Strong planning/organization, analytical ability, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Experience influencing cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Sales success in complex market access coverage.
- Experience with HCPs regarding cold chain treatment products.
- Knowledge of HIV treatment and/or prevention markets.
- Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
- Experience with integrated account teams including field-based members.
