Technologist Trainee

Role: Laboratory Technologist Trainee supporting GC/MS and LC/MS operations in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: perform instrument operation, maintenance, and data interpretation; prepare reagents; ensure quality control and safety compliance; manage inventory and follow chain of custody protocols. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Medical Technology, or related field; proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and in teams; pass color blindness test; flexibility for overtime and shift work. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience; ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical laboratory setting, mass spectrometry (GC/MS, LC/MS), quality and safety protocols, chain of custody, and laboratory operations. Work setup: on-site in Houston, TX, with a schedule Thursday-Monday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, some overtime.
