Technologist - Esoteric Microbiology

Role: Technologist Trainee in clinical laboratory testing, focusing on specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex procedures, and maintaining instrumentation to deliver accurate patient results. Responsibilities: assess specimen acceptability, troubleshoot equipment, prepare reagents, perform quality control, document procedures, and assist with specimen processing. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least one year of clinical lab testing experience or MLS degree; proficiency with computers and lab information systems; attention to detail; ability to work independently and in teams; pass color blindness test; flexible for overtime. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience; ASCP or AMT certification.
