Technologist

Role: Laboratory Technologist responsible for specimen assessment, performing complex testing following SOPs, troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring quality control to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Responsibilities include reagent testing, preventative maintenance, specimen processing support, and maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, with 1+ years of lab testing experience or MLS certification. Preferred: prior Labcorp experience, ASCP or AMT certification. High-Value: clinical laboratory testing in a diagnostic setting; focus on specimen quality, instrument management, and quality assurance. Work setup: Houston, TX, night shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30 PM-8:00 AM); requires computer proficiency, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in teams. Flexibility for overtime or shift adjustments based on operational needs.
