Responsibilities
- Support commissioning/qualification during the project phase to bring semi-automated/automated inspection lines into service and assist with site operational readiness.
- Develop into a subject-matter expert for inspection equipment/process; potential growth into Line Lead or other leadership.
- After project phase, safely operate highly automated syringe inspection equipment.
- Model cGMP and safety standards; support operator development and identify operational improvement opportunities.

Key Objectives
- Provide commissioning/qualification/operational readiness support.
- Follow plant safety policies; follow SOPs and cGMP to ensure product quality.
- Ensure safety/quality/productivity to maintain reliable patient supply.
- Monitor documentation/product quality; document activities and report issues.
- Support troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point on the shop floor.
- Assist supervisor with development and training of shift operators.
- Drive departmental objectives (safety, deviations, productivity, training compliance).

Basic Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience (education may substitute with manager discretion).
- 2+ years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or equivalent regulated industry.
- Full-time U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Additional Skills/Preferences
- Train/coach others; strong written/verbal communication; problem-solving.
- Scientific/technical degree or certifications.
- cGMP knowledge; experience with semi-automated/automated visual inspection; pre-filled syringe (PFS) technology.
- Experience with MES and electronic batch records; lean manufacturing knowledge.

Additional Information
- RTP site; may work remotely periodically during project phase.
- May require short domestic travel (1–2 months in Indianapolis) and limited international travel (<1 month) for FAT.
- Safety PPE; 12-hour day shifts (2-2-3); overtime; travel during project phase; pass annual job fitness exam.
