Position: Technician – QC – IAPI

Responsibilities/Deliverables:
- Perform accurate, timely testing of routine lab samples per GMP and safety guidelines; support in-process QC testing.
- Ensure work timeliness to meet sample TAT and site priorities.
- Maintain EHS compliance, lab safety, cleanliness, and contamination control (cGMP, chemical hygiene, biosafety).
- Follow SOPs/methods/protocols and GDP/regulatory guidelines; uphold data integrity (ALCOA+).
- Identify/escalate atypical results and potential deviations; communicate with QC Team and relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement; participate in cross-functional teams and coordinate with Operations on sampling.
- Handle samples per local procedures to prevent contamination.
- Support audits/inspections (pre-checks and on-site support as requested).
- Label samples and document sample collection per local procedures.
- Perform routine equipment checks; report malfunctions/out-of-tolerance; assist with troubleshooting and escalate complex issues.

Education:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Required Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a lab with PPE; work in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong math and documentation; strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lift at least 5 liters of liquid; carry equipment up stairs; repetitive motion/standing required.
- Full-time US work authorization required; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Additional Preferences:
- 3+ years relevant experience; Associate’s degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, LIMS; HPLC/UPLC/GC/Karl Fischer.

Other Information:
- Complete applicable Learning Plan; 12-hour 3-2-2-3 NIGHT SHIFT; on-call/holiday and overtime/weekend coverage may be needed.
