Technician, QA I

Role Summary

Technician, QA I responsible for sampling and inspecting raw materials, releasing materials per specifications, recording test results in manufacturing systems, segregating rejected materials, and keeping area documentation up to date in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and inspect raw materials, commodities, durable & consumables as per specifications.
• Responsible for the release of material according to material specifications and incoming quality procedures.
• Enter test results in manufacturing systems such as SAP and LIMS.
• Segregate and document the rejected and experimental materials.
• Keep current the specifications, procedures, and documents in the area.

Qualifications

• High School or GED with one (1) year of experience in the biologics or pharmaceutical industry, or Associate Degree in Science with 0 years of experience.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing (GMP) and safety practices.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience driving forklifts and handling materials preferred.
• Basic knowledge in computer systems.
• 1st Shift.
