Role: Superconducting Magnet Technician supporting GE HealthCare's HTIC for developing novel superconducting magnet prototypes. Responsibilities: assemble and evaluate magnet coils, build cryostats, troubleshoot hardware, perform experiments, analyze data, and optimize designs; support compliance and quality activities; lead hardware evaluations with guidance; manage daily operational tasks including EHS, inventory, and documentation; assist in technical and EHS training deployment. Requirements: Bachelor's in engineering or related field, or Associate's with 5-7 years' experience in electromagnetic coil or electronics winding (preferably superconducting coils); strong problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data; adaptable, with excellent communication; effective in team and independent work; authorized to work in the U.S., based in Niskayuna, NY. Preferred: hands-on experience with superconducting coil winding, cryostat assembly, and instrumentation systems like LabVIEW; proactive, curious, strong interpersonal skills.
