Operations
Technician is responsible for performing routine operational and maintenance activities within an assigned suite or area, with proficiency in mechanical/technical tasks, adherence to cGMP, and commitment to EH&S standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate independently within the assigned suite/area; perform routine operational activities and preventative maintenance.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and execute basic repairs for assigned equipment.
- Ensure cGMP compliance by adhering to SOPs, maintenance task lists, and proper documentation.
- Identify and resolve compliance issues; escalate when necessary.
- Maintain 100% training status without requiring coach input.
- Use business systems (e.g., SAP, SAP Mobile, DeltaV) to perform tasks/transactions independently with minimal assistance.
- Recognize operational/technical problems; follow procedures to assess and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot assigned equipment/systems; escalate complex issues to O3/O4.
- Maintain positive EH&S performance by identifying and resolving unsafe conditions; comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Demonstrate inclusion; collaborate with team; participate in team meetings (including Tier discussions).
- Meet assigned timeframes independently; act with urgency for emerging issues as directed.
- Provide/receive timely constructive one-on-one feedback; listen and support team decisions.
- Communicate with other departments/contractors; assist with automation, validation, and testing as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of existing processes; perform other tasks assigned by leadership.
Qualifications / Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of plant maintenance or technical experience.
- Proficiency in a technical craft skill (instrumentation, electrical, plumbing, or advanced mechanical systems).
- Familiarity with cGMP regulatory requirements (or other regulated industry).
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with moderate supervision in non-routine situations.
